Xiaohe Liu is a passionate and hardworking classical pianist who graduated from Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a Bachelors in Piano Performance, under the guidance of Professor Ya-Fei Chuang.
Born in Xi'an, China, he started learning piano at the age of 5. He has been professionally learning piano for more than 16 years and has extensive experience in solo and chamber music performance. During his piano studies, he participated and won many major piano competitions, including First Prize in the Professional Group A of the 77th Steinway International Youth Piano Competition China Grand Final in 2013. He performed solo and in chamber music groups of different instruments many times during his time at Boston Conservatory. He is a friendly and dedicated teacher who teaches piano, music theory, and ear training. With years of teaching experience he's capable of helping students of all levels to reach a higher level of excellence in piano performance.
