Mezzo-soprano Valerie Osborn has studied with Laurey Christie and Deanna McBroom at the College of Charleston, where she received her B.A. is Music in 2009, and an Artist Certificate in 2011. Valerie continued her studies in voice with Carol Mastrodomenico at the Longy School of Music of Bard College, where she graduated with her Masters of Music in May of 2013. She has performed in many different styles, including opera, jazz, folk, cabaret and musical theater. Valerie continues to perform as a member of Opera on Tap Boston, and as the alto section leader at the First Baptist Church of Boston.
Valerie encourages healthy singing in any style, but most importantly, she wants singers to have fun, and enjoy what they are doing.
