Rachel Rynick

Mezzo-soprano Rachel Rynick began studying music as a child when she took lessons in recorder and piano. In college, her focus moved to singing, where she studied classical voice with Julian Rodescu and Clara Rottoslk, as well as piano with Marcantonio Barone and Laurie Ticehurst Poole while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Education and Music. Since moving to the Boston area, Rachel’s interest in singing has both broadened and deepened; she has put on several solo recitals consisting of not only classical repertoire, but also jazz and pop songs. Rachel is currently completing her Master of Music degree in vocal performance at the Longy School of Music while also studying pop vocal technique with voice therapist Barbara Arboleda and focusing across genres on singing grounded in healthy technique.
