Carmen Marsico

Carmen grew up in Castelfranco Veneto, Italy. After studying classical piano until she was 13 she went on to realize her dream, singing in classical choirs, studying classical voice technique, and singing in local pop rock bands. Attending several jazz workshops organized by The Manhattan School of Music, N.Y., she had the opportunity to study with great performers and educators like Mark Murphy and Sheila Jordan. At the age of 20 she attended the University in Venice, and at the same time studied jazz harmony and improvisation as well as voice technique. After graduating from the University of Venice with a degree, Carmen moved to the US to continue her education at Berklee College of Music including studies with Kevin Mahogany, Bob Stoloff, Mili Bermejo and Lisa Thorson.
